SM Entertainment is concluding the production of NCT units with the forthcoming launch of their final unit, tentatively named NCT NEW TEAM. This group is specifically tailored for the Japanese market and comprises members selected through ‘NCT Universe: Restart.’ Following a pre-debut tour across nine Japanese cities, they unveiled their pre-debut single, ‘Hands Up,’ in October.

Sion, Riku, Yushi, Daeyoung, Ryo, and Sakuya released their first song “Hands Up” on October 8, 2023, paving the way for their much awaited official debut in 2024.
