The song quickly ascended to the summit of the iTunes ‘Top Song Chart’ in 14 different countries. According to YG’s latest update on the 27th, “Batter Up” clinched the number one spot on the ‘Top Song Charts’ across several nations, including Thailand, Brazil, and Vietnam.
Notably, it marked the first debut track of the year to break into the top 50 on the US iTunes ‘Top Song Chart.’ Baby Monster, YG’s first girl group since the sensational debut of Blackpink in 2016, sets “Batter Up” apart with its infectious hook and powerful bassline.
The music video for “Batter Up” boasted captivating visuals and remarkable sets, drawing in over 8.69 million views within just around 10 hours of its release. The group’s subscriber count surged past 3.42 million in the same timeframe. Speaking about the track, YG highlighted,
